5 Natural Recipes To Color Your Hair At Home Easily

5 Natural Recipes To Color Your Hair at Home EASILY.

I reveal here my natural tips to give pretty colored highlights to my hair. I am a fan of these 100% natural techniques which also hide white hair. When I saw the harmful effects of chemical coloring on my hair and my scalp, I immediately stopped! However, I didn't want to give up having hair with beautiful colored shades. That's why I turned to natural home colors for my hair.

1. Carrot juice

Do you want to give an orange-red tint to your hair? Try carrot juice! Depending on your hair color, the tint can easily last a few weeks or even months.

How to do

Squeeze the carrots to release the juice. - Mix this juice with a carrier oil like coconut or olive oil. - Apply the mixture generously to your hair. - Now wrap your hair in a plastic bag, charlotte or cellophane. - Let the mixture sit for at least an hour. - Rinse with water then cider vinegar. - If the color is not bright enough for your taste, repeat the operation the next day.

2. Beet juice

Want to have deeper red highlights with burgundy undertones? Opt for beet juice instead of carrot juice to make your color.

3. Henna

Henna is a natural and traditional dye in powder form. It is used on the skin to make temporary tattoos, or to color fabric. On the hair, it works a miracle, giving a shiny and long-lasting color for up to 6 weeks. It even covers part of the white hair.

How to do

Mix 50 g (about half of the sachet) with 50 ml of water. - Stir the mixture until it is smooth and thick like mashed potatoes. - Add water if needed if you don't have the right consistency. - Cover the mixture with plastic wrap and let stand for 12 hours. - Add a little water if the mixture is too pasty. - Wash your hair without using conditioner. - Put a headband on your hair. - Apply coconut oil along the roots. This helps prevent staining your skin. - Apply the mixture strand by strand to damp, combed hair until all hair is covered. - Wrap your hair in cellophane or a plastic charlotte. - Leave on for at least 2 hours and up to 6. Rinse. - Wash your hair as usual. Most brands offer ready-to-use blends to match your hair color and enhance its tone. The longer you leave on, the more intense and long-lasting the color will be. Attention, henna, even natural, tends to produce red reflections, even red. If you want to remove henna from locks, here's how

4. Lemon juice

Lemon juice bleaches and slowly lightens the hair by removing its pigments. It is used on light hair to obtain natural golden reflections. Unlike other methods, the effects of lemon are permanent. Why ? Because the pigment of hair treated with lemon disappears. To get rid of discolored hair, you will have to let it grow or cut it.

How to do

Pour the juice of one lemon into a spray bottle. - Spray the juice generously on your hair, especially on the ends to create a "beach" effect - Comb the hair to distribute the juice evenly throughout your hair. - For best results, sit in the sun for at least an hour, then rinse. - Repeat the operation several times to obtain the effect you want. This coloring is slow and requires more repeated applications to start enjoying the results.

5. Coffee

A good cup of coffee, you can't refuse. But did you know that coffee can also color your hair? It darkens the hair one or two shades, and can even cover some gray hair.

How to do

- Prepare 250 ml of very strong and very black coffee. - Mix 100ml with 2 tbsp coffee grounds and 200ml leave-in conditioner. - Apply this mixture to clean, damp hair. - Leave on for at least an hour. - Rinse with clear water when you are finished. - If the result is not dark enough, repeat the operation. Coffee does not drastically change the color of your hair, and only lasts a fortnight. But it's ideal for giving your hair a boost before a date or an impromptu evening.
