Method

The first thing to do is to wash and peel the potatoes. If there is a little bit of soil in your potato, the chips will not become good.

After this, cut the potato directly into cold water with the help of a chips cutter. You do not have to use too much cold water, but the temperature of the water should be the same as that of potty water.

You do not have to make very thin chips because if you make them very thin, they will not become crispy.

Now you have to wash it three to three times so that the starch comes out of the chips.

Now put the chips in boiling water and boil for just 2 minutes. You may be wondering why did we do this, then this technique will help you in making market-like chips. But keep in mind that it should not be more than 2 minutes. By doing this the chips will not turn red when drying.

You do not have to use salt yet. After boiling it, put it in a clean kitchen towel to remove the extra moisturizer.

Now you can either dry them like this (dry in the sun) or you can dry them in a pan and fry them.

Now pour the chips in the hot oil and fry them again.
